We were invited to a special exhibition titled "Silent Revolutions" in UGM in Maribor. For this occasion we prepared a completely new presentation of our studio and our way of thinking. We wanted to explore how far we can push the concept of an interactive gallery installation by using just one, almost trivial, but a very intelligent object that we have designed. We used the Etea light - a general purpose basic luminaire. Visitors took part in experience and interacted with our exhibit and make their own lightning mood. We also made a survey about their favorite light combination. Together with Intra Lighting we will give away five luminaries in the desired configurations, chosen by the winners. There was also a surprise message when turning all the lights off.
Survey results
Our Light Miklavc Show survey received outstanding feedback from the visitors of the "Silent Revolutions" exhibition. After the exhibition, the suggestions box was jammed full with survey leaflets. The survey confirmed most of our assumptions regarding the product; the most popular color combination for the Etea light was the "all in matte white" version. Two thirds of the participants would choose a colored ring, while half of them would choose a colored base. The most preferred color for the ring is green, with blue being the color of choice for the base.
Most of the participants would put the light in a hallway, with the child bedroom and the study following closely behind. We were delighted by some innovative answers as well; for example some of you would put the Etea light in the garden instead of paper lights.
A big thank you goes to all of you that participated in the survey and thus helping with further development of the product.
